Meeting in Bellevue

I drove Heather to work in Bellevue this morning. We had a doctor appointment down there tonight anyway, so I went back down to pick her up before the appointment. Doc says everything is looking good and the baby is measuring normal. Heather has been having some contractions, but apparently they are not real "down to business" contractions. They are just for "practice". That is the way our Doctor explained it to me anyway. Makes sense to me, practice makes perfect!!!

Heather text messaged me at about 3:00 pm today and told me they had a special guest at their DM state meeting. Mr. Matt Hasselbeck from the Seahawks was there to hype the team up and do a little Q and A session with them. Heather asked him some pretty tough questions and put him on the spot about the team's performance this year, he didn't have all of the answers she wanted though! He did mention to her that there was a head coach position available with the Seahawks next season if she were at all interested! Just kidding, but she did get an autographed football. He assured her that it would be worth a little more money after next season though. (no kidding!) She told him not to write checks that his body can't cash!
