LOGAN

A dog of many names...Logan, Mister, Mister Dog, Logi, Big Guy, The Loganizer, and Sweet Boy. We had many names for him but one thing never changed- the amount of love that we had for him. He returned that love every day to us, mostly with a wag of his tail, one of his famous smiles, and when we needed a laugh, one of his big burps after getting a huge drink of water. We will miss the sound of his feet on the wood floor, him licking his feet while we try to fall asleep, the way he would flip your hand on top of his head so you would pet him whether you wanted to or not, the way he always greeted Heather with an excited whine and a sideways run, his knack of always finding a foot or a hand sticking out of the bed to lean against, his love for tennis balls, his big brown eyes with his natural dark eyeliner ( very eighties rock! ), and most of all his loyalty and willingness to always protect us no matter what. One thing that I have noticed here in the last couple days is the sympathy we have received from family and friends, all of them saying one thing in common - "Logan was a Good Dog". Damn right, he was the best!

Thank you all for sharing your memories and for the calls of support, it means a lot to us.

  1. Aww.....sweet, sweet, sweet Logan. I'm so sorry, you guys. He WAS the sweetest dog ever. What a tough few weeks for you, Rob. We're thinking about you guys - we know how much you guys loved that stud muffin! Now he's roaming around up in doggie heaven - he will be missed. Sending lots of (((hugs))) your way! XO

  2. Great tribute to LOGAN. Wish I hadn't just put makeup on though. People that are not dog owners do not understand what unconditional love really is. I know Logan is in a beautiful place now with mountains of tennis balls. Know our thoughts and big hugs are with you two.

  4. Logan was the best. I remember him up camping and trying to stay up with the ATV and Heather. He sure was special. Now he is up running with Gabbi and chasing balls. It is amazing what we put our dogs through with hats and bunny ears, but they sure love us anyway. Our thoughts and love are with you.
