We got back into town on Monday afternoon. It was hard to leave the Mason place. It seems that we shift into another gear when we are there. The town of Hamilton is growing and there seems to be a lot more traffic now then there was the first time we visited, but it is still nothing compared to the hustle and bustle of the Seattle area.
There were a few firsts for our little Maisy while we were there. She rode her first horse (with her Uncle Frank's help), had her first pancake, and she had her first Halloween. It was also the first time that Connie and Frank met their niece.
There was a lot of visiting and eating going on. Connie is a great cook and Frank is a great sous chef especially when there is cheese that needs grating! One night while Connie was grilling some chicken outside, she popped her head in through the sliding glass door and said to come outside and listen for a noise that she kept hearing. I checked to see if Frank was around to make sure this was not an attempt at some sort of retaliation for scaring the dickens out of everyone a number of years ago at Thanksgiving and then went outside. Connie thinks that this noise was some sort of owl. It sounded really weird, nothing like I have ever heard, perfect for a Halloween Night!
concentrating... Connie is holding her, don't worry!
She liked Uncle Frank's neckerchief...
Fun with the tupperware...
Introducing Maisy to the horses...

Awww....so fun! Had no idea you guys were headed to Montana. We need to make a trip up there.
ReplyDeleteI love Maisy on the horse and Maisy as Snow White!!
I bet Connie & Frank were SO excited to meet the Little Miss.
It was a tough week for Aunt CJ. I sure did miss the Ferraris. Especially that little Maisy giggle, laugh squeal. And Zeus is really missing her too. No more cheerios on the floor.
ReplyDeleteSO YOU GUYS TAKE THE BEST PICTURES EVER. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD SO MUCH FUN!
