Pat, Austin, and Royce come for a visit

Pat and the guys came up for a visit. We had a lot of fun with them. Everyday was a different adventure. Austin had his camera out and was snapping some great photos to document their trip, and Royce was able to visit the EMP ( Experience Music Project ) down at the Seattle Center. Austin also went for a Campus visit at the Seattle Art Institute. We all went to a Mariners game and Aunt Pat bought Maisy her first Mariners ball cap. A blue one! Not a pink one... because there is no pink in baseball, Heather! Maisy says thanks, Aunt Pat! We also went for a sight seeing boat ride around San Juan Island. We saw a lot of beautiful wildlife but the stars of the show did not make an appearance. The Orcas were nowhere to be found that day. A bit of a dissappointment, but not to worry, there was enough excitement to be had on the way back to Anacortes. After a long ferry ride and running the DVD player in Heather's POS Ford, the dang battery went dead. I went to tell someone on the ferry and their charger happened to be broken. I get back to the car and of course everyone thought that was hilarious! All the cars emptied off the ferry and they tried to jump us. It didn't work the first few times they tried so they drove their little yellow truck around behind us, which had a car tire mounted to the front of it, and pushed us of the boat. Heather and gang were laughing really loud the whole time with the windows down and when we rolled past the ferry staff on the dock she asked them the directions to the parade! Only Heather! What a card and what a memory to go down in the books.
